Beyonce | National Anthem Controversy

I’m so offended! Beyonce is a big fat liar face! How betrayed I feel! She lip synced!? I’m disgusted![/sarcasm]

Come on folks, really? We’re this shocked over something so trivial? Terrible things are happening every day, and yet, this is what gets news time?

I just don’t get it! Maybe singers wouldn’t feel the need to lip sync, and producers wouldn’t feel the need to ask them to, if there was just a bit less pressure put on them? Like if they weren’t expected to remember choreography, execute said choreography, and maintain enough breath to belt it out as well as the original recording? I’m sure they could kill the vocals every time!

And in Beyonce’s case, have you ever tried to sing in near freezing temperatures? I haven’t, but I do know sometimes it’s hard just to breathe. Sometimes it feels like my snot is forming ice crystals inside my nostrils. So why do we put this kind of expectation on these human beings? Why are they expected to be perfect? And when they turn out not to be, why is it such earth shattering news, that it’s all we hear about for weeks?

Okay, I’m done ranting.

    I think the only reason people were offended was because it was such an important occasion. It seems almost wrong to not sing the anthem loud and proud for the president of the united states. However, i’m just playing devils advocate. I don’t really care. And anyway, she still sang WITH her pre-recording. So, big woop lol
