I want a bike!
This whole “getting healthy” thing isn’t going so well for me as of late. I still act like a limp noodle, and have no motivation for exercise! I think what I need is something fun to get me excited about it again. I’m bored with walking, Zumba isn’t doing it for me either. I think what I really want to do is some biking. I love to bike, but I can’t really bike without well… a bike! So I’m looking around, and I found an adorable little powder blue number I like, but it’s somewhat costly. So it is something I will have to think about.
Another thing that would excite me about having a bike, is finding some pretty trails to bike on. I love being outdoors, and changing scenery every now and again would keep me from getting bored. I could get a suv bike rack, and take my bike wherever I go! It would be so much fun.
Do any of you bike? I could use any tips about picking a bike you have for me!!

My name is Michele. I’m 25 living in Schenectady, NY with my boyfriend Chris and our three fur-babies. I hate “about me”s unless they’re about someone else, so go

I used to have a mountain bike that worked perfectly well for my needs. Until I left it at the apartment in their basement when I moved out. Luckily i only paid $50 for it. I had no where to store it at the new place anyway. I’d suggest getting a large, jelled seat for better comfort and definitely some gloves. I was only biking a mile and the rubbing on the handlebars still hurt like heck without them.
Yeah Amy, I would definitely need a comfy seat! And thanks for the advice about the gloves, I didn’t even think of that!
I’ve always wanted to bike but I don’t. I think its because I have no garage and so its a pain in the ass to store. But if I had a garage, I think I’d like it!
I have a few bikes, lol. I love bike riding. If you go to a good bike store, they can find one in your budget, fit you to it and give you some tips and pointers.
