Want to know how my mind works? Probably not, but I am going to show you anyway. Here is an entire post of me typing whatever randomly pops into my head. Should be interesting! I may make it a whole thing. “Random Thoughts Thursday”? Sounds kinda spiffy.

I haven’t had my coffee today. I suppose it isn’t too late. I’ll probably be up half the night anyway, considering I slept til 2pm. Christopher is sick. He lives in bed now. I’m worried about him. I learned how to do a fishtail braid. I’ve been wanting to know how for years. I am quite impressed with myself. So impressed in fact, that I took a photo of it. (see left) It isn’t in the best shape in that pic, I slept on it. But I do love it. I think I finally have Chris talked into going organic. The problems with his stomach have gotten him thinking. The preservatives and chemicals they put in food these days is ridic. I feel like going a month listening only music that is at least as old as I am. Most of what’s being put out now-a-days is garbage anyway. Listen to me! I sound like such an old crotchety lady. Next I am going to be shouting at the kids in the neighborhood to keep it down, I can’t hear my stories!! Okay, so maybe it’s not all garbage, but compared to the way music used to be? I mean, think about it. What do we have today that can compare to Cat Stevens? Jim Croce? Louis Armstrong? Janis Joplin? Led Zeppelin? James Freaking Taylor?! Even 80s music. Love me some Bangles, and Tears for Fears. So yes, I think September will be the month of the 1986 cut off. I am going to finish this Miranda Lambert song, and then I am done. DONE! Speaking of September, it is the birth month of two of my favorite people. My nephew Connor will be 8, and my puppy Carabella will be 4 both on the 11th. I miss them both miserably. However, I did get some good news yesterday! Apparently my sister has decided to keep Cara! This means I have a slim chance of getting her back someday. Fall is almost here. I am so ready. Ready for pumpkin, and leaves, and football. I watched the OU game last night. We miraculously found it on a local sports channel. Doesn’t make any kind of sense, but I know better than to question it. It was close, and stressful. I’m hoping it isn’t any kind of indication of how the rest of the season is going to be. We still have Kenny Stills, and Tom Wort, so hopefully we’re not completely screwed without Ryan.
