Wordless Wednesday

One of my favorite fellow bloggers Cyndi has been hosting this blog hop for a little over a month now, and I’ve been wanting to participate. Finally, I’m getting around to it!

Basically, the point is to find a picture you think is worth 1,000 words, and share it! Here’s mine:

I took this photo in the fall, at Washington Park in Albany. It was my first time there, and it was gorgeous. Walking past the little lake, I noticed some ducks. These guys weren’t shy at all, and came right up to us from the water. Unfortunately for all involved, we didn’t have any food for them, and they walked away from us annoyed. That’s when I took this photo. When they come back in warmer weather, I have every intention of buying them some bread or cheerios or something, and visiting them again. They were so cool!

    I loved the park when I lived on Colonie!!! They had so many free events during good weather (plays, puppet shows, music). It was a great place to take the kids for a picnic and fun day (that was during the early 70′s)

    Yeah Kerry, it really is a cool place. We don’t make it out to Albany a whole lot, but I would like to a little more often. The day we were there, they were setting up the big drive through light show, and it was so cool!

    This is cool! I’d love to participate! You have no idea how much I LOVE ducks. I used to own 3 and Chipper was my baby. He was so tame and sweet. I miss him so much :(

    This reminds me of a park local to us that visit quite often in the warm weather. The ducks and geese come right up to you there, too. I am on Long Island in NY. Beautiful pictures :) :)
